| Sailing |
Sailing in the Kyles area is hard to beat - whether
you sail an Optimist or Ocean Cruiser, it is the place
you have to visit. Just take a look at the map
to see how many lochs and bays there are to discover
within an easy day's sail of Tighnabruaich.

| Walking |
The Tighnabruaich area has a wealth of walking
routes including the Cowal
Way which is a 47 mile walk presented in 6 separate
sections with a total climb of 1540 meters. With outstanding
scenery and walks of all levels, the area is extremely
accessible, located just north west of the River Clyde
in Argyll.

| Golf |
Our challenging nine-hole golf course must boast
some of the finest views of any in the world, with
spectacular vistas down the North and West Kyles from
both the 7th and 9th tees!

| Angling |
The area is very good for trout and salmon in rivers
and nearby lochs - allegedly we have the second best
salmon river in Scotland very nearby. The Kyles offer
good mackerel fishing from the pier, or Holidays Argyll
can give you the loan of a boat.

| Canoeing |
The Kyles of Bute offer unrivalled canoeing with spectacular scenery in
sheltered waters. Unless of course you’re confident enough to brave a
cruise round Bute or across open water to Arran.

There's a wonderful almost flat cycle run on a
good surface the entire length of the shore of the
North and West Kyles. And for the fit, there are plenty
of hills.

| Scuba Diving |
Diving around this area of water can be enjoyed
at all times of the year and in all weather conditions,
thanks to our sheltered position. Winter diving continues
here when most other areas are closed.

There are lots of places to see and things to do, such as
a sail on the PS Waverley, or an adventure boat ride on the River Rocket,
