The large patio doors open on to the raised balcony overlooking the garden and the West Kyle. Originally, this was the Gunpowder Works manager's house, so it has considerable local history.
There are two double bedrooms on the lower level and the third bedroom, with bunks beds, is on the middle level. A shower room with basin and loo is situated on the ground floor
Situated in the centre of Kames, but secluded, it faces the sea and is set behind a high stone wall and has extensive gardens in front of the house with a drying green at the back and a trampoline to keep the kids happy. The village is served by Kames Hotel begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting, Duncans the Grocer and the Post Office, all within two minutes walk.
Rowan Cottage is a perfect self-catering base for sailing, fishing, golfing, relaxing and walking in Argyll.
