In the hills above Tighnabruaich there are three major trout lochs under the control of the local angling club. These are stocked twice a year with brown and rainbow trout.

Fishing from 5th March to 5th October is fly only and permits are available from:

• An Lochan at Tighnabruaich
• Kames Kabin
• Glendaruel Caravan Park

Permits are £10.00 for a day's fishing or £25.00 for a year's membership (plus a £25.00 joining fee).
